Events

ILLA will host a meeting on syntax in the realm of Galician and Portuguese on Thursday 7 October. The event will proceed according to the following program:

Morning session:

• 10:00 h: opening by Félix Córdoba, Dean of the Faculty of Philology; Teresa López, Director of the Department of Letters and ILLA coordinator; and Xosé Ramón Freixeiro Mato, as a member of the organisation of the day.
• 10:30 h: Maria Aldina Marques (Universidade do Minho): "Sintaxe e textos. Estratégias de apagamento enunciativo". Presened by Xosé Ramón Freixeiro Mato. Discussion: 11:15 h.
• 11:30 h: Alexandre Rodríguez Guerra (Universidade de Vigo): "A escrita galega medieval e os seus esquemas sintácticos". Presented by Manuel Ferreiro. Discussion: 12:15 h.
• Coffee break
• 13:00 h: Rosario Soto Arias: "Fraseoloxía e sintaxe". Presented by Carlos-Caetano Biscainho-Fernandes. Discussion: 13:45 h.

Evening session:

• 16:30 h: Natália Pires (Escola Superior de Educação Politécnico de Coimbra): "À entrada do mês de maio, à saída da Primavera: notas para o estudo da sintaxe do romanceiro da tradição oral moderna portuguesa". Presented by Xosé Manuel Sánchez Rei. Discussion: 17:15 h.
• 17:30 h: Xosé Ramón Freixeiro Mato: "Algunhas notas sobre sintaxe, texto e estilo". Presented by Manuel Ferreiro. Discussion: 18:15 h.
• 18:30 h: closing by Xosé Manuel Sánchez Rei.
• 18:45 h: musical performance by Susana Seivane.
