Teatro recuperado is a collection of three important but previously unpublished plays by Leandro Carré, with edition, notes and analysis by Carlos Caetano Biscaínho Fernandes. The plays were well known in Galician theatre circles in the early decades of the 20th century, with O pago and O engano both singled out by judges at the Irmandade de Betanzos dramatic writing competition in 1920. Un caso compricado was first staged at the Xofre Theatre in Ferrol in 1928 by the Real Coro Toxos e Froles drama society.
