With these works, ILLA would like to recognize the intelectual teaching of Laura Tato and Xosé Ramón Freixeiro.

Elsinor en Finisterrae. Estudos transversais sobre teatro galego, was coordinated by Carlos-Caetano Biscainho-Fernandes and it was published by Peter Lang Publishing Group after a rigorous peer-review process. Estudos sobre gramática e sociolingüística galego-portuguesa, coordinated by Xosé Manuel Sánchez Rei, is a part of the issue number 13 of the monographs of Revista Galega de Filoloxía, which was just accepted at Scopus for indexing.

It is clearly visible in Elsinor en Finisterrae the importance of Laura Tato's work, Emeritus Professor at UDC and ILLA member, for the consolidation of Galician theatre studies. The volume presents a mosaic of perspectives with the objective of offering a transversal and an up-to-date view of Galician theatre through the recovery of forgotten texts, the revision of dramatic historiography, the studying of the editorial and translation field, the analysis of the relations of Galician theatre with other genres and systems, the highlighting of women's interventions in the theatre field or the research about the accuracy level of the philological criteria on dramatic productions.

The book counts with the collaboration of ILLA members (Manuel Ferreiro, Teresa López, Pilar García Negro, Leticia Eirín, Carme Fernández Pérez-Sanjulián, Isaac Lourido, María Filipowicz, as well as editor Carlos-Caetano Bicainho-Fernandes) alongside outstanding researchers in Galician theatre studies (Henrique Rabuñal, Inma López Silva, Roberto Pascual, Emilio Ínsua, Luis Miguel Antelo, Euloxio Ruibal, Manuel F. Vieites, Elisa Serra) and UDC professors (Roberto Samartim).

The set of works brought together in Estudos sobre gramática e sociolingüística galego-portuguesa revealed the importance of the contributions made by Xosé Ramón Freixeiro Mato, Emeritus Professor at UDC and ILLA member, in the field of grammatical and sociolinguistic studies. The collaborations are made in different chronological orders (diachronic and synchronic) and in different fields and lines of research (morphology, text linguistics, syntax, language planning, translation, etc.)

Joining forces in this work are ILLA members (Carlos-Caetano Biscainho-Fernandes, Manuel Ferreiro, María Pilar García Negro, Xoán Luís López Viñas and Xosé Manuel Sánchez Rei, the coordinator of this volume), professors from Galician universities (Robert Neal Baxter, Carlos Garrido, Xavier Guinovart, María Jesús Lorenzo-Modia, Ramón Mariño, José Luís Rodríguez, Roberto Samartim), professors from Portuguese universities (Isabel Duarte, Maria Aldina Marques – ILLA collaborator–, Natália Pires, Helena Rebelo, Olinda Santana e José Teixeira) and professors from other universities around the world (Sandra Pérez López from University of Brasília, Aurélia Merlan from University of Munich), as well as highschool teachers  (María Fernández Zas, Damián Suárez). This volume was supported by the Servizo de Publicacións of UDC.

Both volumes will be presented during an event at NORMAL, which will count with the participation of editors Carlos-Caetano Biscainho-Fernandes and Xosé Manuel Sánchez Rei, who will be introduced by ILLA coordinator, Teresa López.
