Pepe Barro has a long professional career in the field of design. His work is a reading of Galicia that renews its signs of identity by incorporating the languages of international design. Among his most relevant works are the graphic identity of the University of A Coruña, the shirt of the Galician national football team, the website of the Real Academia Galega and the renovation of the Rosalía de Castro Museum House.
