Defence of Diego Rivadulla's doctoral thesis

Next week, Diego Rivadulla Costa will present his doctoral thesis, Novela e memoria cultural: a ficcionalización do franquismo na narrativa galega (2000-2015).

Diego Rivadulla Costa, a doctoral student in the ILLA group, will defend his doctoral thesis before a panel composed of Antonio Sáez, from the University of Évora, Ascensión Rivas, from the University of Salamanca and Teresa López, from the University of A Coruña.

The thesis, directed by prof. Carlos Paulo Martínez Pereiro, makes a systematic approach to the relations between novel and cultural memory in the Galician literary production of the 21st century. This thesis is the first to address this issue in the Galician university system.
